The X6’s innovative, sporty look reflects the components that give it a sports car-like driving feel that’s not usually associated with
AWD vehicles. In addition to a powerful engine and taut suspension, BMW’s revolutionary Dynamic Performance Control technology
can transfer power between the rear wheels for quick high-performance cornering. Adaptive Drive, which is included in the optional
Sport Package, adds Active Roll Stabilization (ARS) and Electronic Damping Control (EDC) to the mix. ARS helps eliminate body roll,
keep ing the vehicle level, stable and agile; EDC continuously adjusts the shock absorbers from the softest to the firmest settings for
outstanding compliance and body control. In the X6, it all comes together in a unique driving experience.

Not all roads are dry and level, freshly paved straightaways. That' s good news for the X6 Sports Activity Coupe.™
It welcomes challenges, easily tackling rough surfaces, tight corners, steep climbs and steeper downhills. Power
distribution is nominally 40% front axle, 60% rear, for balanced handling. However, BMW' s xDrive intelligent
all-wheel-drive technology continuously and undetectably transfers power between both axles, depending upon
which has greater traction, while Dynamic Performance Control transfers power between the two rear wheels.
On gentle downgrades, Dynamic Cruise Control1 applies the brakes automatically, keeping you at a constant
speed. And on a steep downhill grade, press the Hill Descent Control button to help keep the X6 to a steady

action even, so you don' t have to keep increasing brake pressure.
